Austin Haunted UT Campus Self Guided Ghost Tour
This ghost hunt starts under the UT Tower and spends the next 90 minutes on the University of Texas campus, between the Harry Ransom Center, the Blanton Museum and the quiet halls along Speedway. It's self-guided and runs on the Questo app, so all you need is your phone. The ghosts are ten made-up characters with very real grievances. One teacher keeps writing a child into her registers who was never in her class. An actor hid the code that frees him in his last monologue, and a night manager went back into a burning hotel for a child who was never there. Every puzzle you solve catches a ghost and adds a clue, and by the end you'll know which of the ten has been lying. It suits students, visiting families and anyone who likes a puzzle more than a lecture. The walk is about 1.4 miles. Go after dark for the full effect, with hints and 24/7 support if you need them.
